Recent Events:

Relay for Life 2015: Each year Yuva Mandal participates in Issaquah Relay for Life as “Team It’s Chai Time”. Relay for Life is a 20 hour relay walk to raise money and awareness for cancer research as well as cancer patients and survivors. This year, Yuva Mandal raised $6,086.82 in total through SMM events as well as door-to-door and online fundraising. Additionally, we sold Iced Chai, Cookies, and Mehndi at the event which contributed to our total. On May 9, we went to Issaquah High School and had at least one person walking on the track for the whole 20 hours. Our efforts (including the money we raised) went towards cancer patients, their families, and funding cancer research.
